O Programa Tatô aderiu à Semana da Tartaruga Marinha (www.seaturtleweek.com), uma iniciativa global que conta com o envolvimento de cerca de 100 organizações internacionais. Este evento mundial pretende celebrar as 7 espécies de tartarugas marinhas que existem no mundo, destacando as principais ameaças destas espécies ameaçadas de extinção, no âmbito das comemorações do Dia Mundial dos Oceanos (8 de Junho) e do Dia Mundial da Tartaruga Marinha (16 de Junho).
Para celebrar o evento, o Programa Tatô elaborou um programa especial que será passado na Rádio Nacional de São Tomé e Príncipe onde, diariamente, serão abordados diferentes temas relativos ao mar às cinco espécies de tartarugas marinhas e as suas ameaças que ocorrem na Ilha.

Programa Tatô joined the Sea Turtle Week (www.seaturtleweek.com), a global initiative with the involvement of around 100 international organizations. This world event aims to celebrate the 7 species of sea turtles that exist in the world, highlighting the main threats of these threatened species, within the scope of the celebration of World Ocean Day (June 8) and the World Sea Turtle Day (16 June).
To celebrate this event, Programa Tatô prepared a special program to be launched on the National Radio of São Tomé and Príncipe and where different themes regarding the sea, the 5 species that occur on the island and its threats will be approached daily.
